February 18, 2014 -- The following paragraph in the guidelines regarding resubmission applications has been updated:

Only one resubmission will be allowed for any application. A one-page “Response to Reviewers” may be included in the revised submission (see "Narrative Guidelines").  The revised proposal will need to be significantly improved over the original submission and address comments from the initial review.  Submissions beyond the permitted single revision will be returned without review.  **Note: some of the guidelines and emphasis of the grants have changed since the October 2013 cycle.  Be sure to read the entire set of new guidelines.

To begin the application process, please sign in with your Hawk ID and password through the Sign In or Register button at the right.  Guidelines and program details are available here or at anytime during the application process through the OVPR&ED Internal Funding Initiatives Guidelines link located at the top of the page.

Applications available for submission:

  • Arts & Humanities Initiative (AHI) Standard Grants
  • Major Project Grants
  • Major Conferences/Ideation Meetings
  • Core Facilities/Shared Equipment

Deadline: March 4, 2014, 11:59 p.m.

Applications for all programs will be accepted and reviewed three times annually.  September and December 2014 dates will be announced.
